Ia memperoleh gelar Sarjana dan Magister dalam Arkeologi Mesir dari Universitas Kolese London. Setelah menyelesaikan pendidikannya, ia mulai mengajar di Birkbeck, Universitas London, dengan fokus penelitian pada periode Hyksos di Mesir. Pada tahun 2018, ia meraih gelar Doktor Filsafat (PhD) dari Universitas Birmingham[2] dengan disertasi berjudul "Excavating paper squeezes: identifying the value of nineteenth and early twentieth century squeezes of ancient Egyptian monuments, through the collections of seven UK archives." membahas penggunaan paper squeezes, yaitu cetakan kertas timbul yang dibuat dengan menekan kertas basah ke permukaan prasasti atau relief kuno untuk menyalin inskripsinya. Penelitian ini menyoroti bagaimana squeezes dari abad ke-19 dan awal abad ke-20 dapat memberikan informasi tentang monumen Mesir Kuno, terutama dalam kasus di mana inskripsi aslinya telah mengalami kerusakan atau hilang. Booth menganalisis koleksi squeezes yang tersimpan di tujuh arsip di Inggris untuk mengevaluasi nilai historis dan akademisnya, serta bagaimana teknik ini membantu dalam studi epigrafi Mesir.[3] Selain mengajar, Booth mengembangkan platform pembelajaran daring bernama CharlotteEgypt, yang menyediakan kursus tentang berbagai aspek sejarah Mesir Kuno, termasuk hieroglif dan kehidupan sehari-hari di masa tersebut. Ia juga telah menulis beberapa buku non-akademik mengenai Egyptologi.
Pada tahun 2015, ia bekerja sebagai arkeolog lapangan untuk Museum of London Archaeology (MOLA) dalam proyek penggalian situs Bedlam di Liverpool Street, London. [4]
