Radium (88Ra) tidak memiliki satu pun isotop yang stabil atau hampir stabil, sehingga demikian berat atom standarnya tidak dapat diberikan. Isotop radium yang berumur paling panjang dan paling umum adalah 226Ra dengan waktu paruh 1600 tahun. 226Ra terjadi dalam rantai peluruhan 238U (sering disebut sebagai deret radium). Radium memiliki 33 isotop yang diketahui, mulai dari 202Ra hingga 234Ra.
Pada tahun 2013 ditemukan bahwa inti 224Ra berbentuk seperti buah pir.[1] Ini merupakan penemuan pertama dari sebuah inti yang asimetris.
