Urartu[1] esseva un regno antique situate in le plateau armenie. Formate in le seculo 9 aEC, illo habeva un potentia grande in le region in le seculo 8 aEC capabile de resistir le armea assyrie. Urartu dispareva in le seculo 6 aEC in conditiones mal cognoscite.
