amerikai country énekes, zenész, dalszerző From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Merle Haggard (teljes nevén Merle Ronald Haggard) (Bakersfield, Kalifornia, 1937. április 6. – Palo Cedro, Kalifornia, 2016. április 6.) amerikai country-énekes, zeneszerző. Számos nagy sikerű dal (Workin' Man, I'm a Lonesome Fugitive) előadója. Gitáron és hegedűn is játszott.
Szülei, Flossie Mae (leánykori családnevén Harp) és James Francis Haggard,[10] Kaliforniába költöztek, miután a nagy gazdasági válság idején, 1934-ben leégett a fészer az oklahomai Checotah-beli otthonukban. [11]
[12][13] The property was eventually expanded by building a bathroom, a second bedroom, a kitchen, and a breakfast nook in the adjacent lot.[12]
