सेल्युकसी साम्राज्य

सेल्युकसी साम्राज्य (प्राचीन यूनानी : Βασιλεία τῶν Σελευκιδῶν, बैसिलिया टोन सेल्युकिडोन) हेलिनिस्टिक काल का एक साम्राज्य है, जिसपर सेल्युकसी वंश ने शासन किया। इस साम्राज्य का कालखंड 312 ईसा पूर्व से 63 ईसा पूर्व तक रहा। इसकी स्थापना सेल्युकस प्रथम निकेटर ने मेसिडोनियाई साम्राज्य, जिसका सिकंदर महान ने अत्यधिक विस्तार किया था, के विभाजन के पश्चात की थी।^{[8][9][10][11]} साम्राज्य के अधिकतम विस्तार के समय यह अनातोलिया, फ़ारस (पर्शिया), लेवांट, मेसोपोटामिया तथा वर्तमान में कुवैत, अफ़ग़ानिस्तान तथा आंशिक रूप से पाकिस्तान तथा तुर्कमेनिस्तान तक विस्तृत था।
