Bukhara, Bucara, Buxara ou Buxoro (en lingua uzbeka Buxoro, en alfabeto cirílico Бухоро) é a quinta cidade máis poboada do Uzbekistán e a capital da provincia de Buhkara (Bukhoro viloyati).

Tiña unha poboación de 237.900 habitantes (censo de 1999), maioritariamente taxicos de lingua persa.
Bukhara e Samarcanda son os dous principais centros da cultura e a historia taxico-persa.
Durante o período soviético, estes dous centros taxicos foron anexionados á República Socialista Soviética de Uzbekistán, en contra da vontade dos taxicos da Asia Central.
En 1993 o seu centro foi declarado Patrimonio Cultural da Humanidade pola Unesco.
