Théorème de Riesz

Plusieurs noms de théorèmes font référence aux deux frères Riesz, mathématiciens hongrois :
- Frigyes Riesz
- Théorème de compacité de Riesz, qui dit qu'un espace vectoriel normé sur est de dimension finie si et seulement si sa boule unité fermée est compacte, et qui se déduit du lemme de Riesz
- Théorème de représentation de Fréchet-Riesz, qui concerne les formes linéaires continues sur un espace de Hilbert
- Théorème de représentation de Riesz-Markov qui décrit par la théorie de la mesure les duaux de certains espaces de fonctions continues
- Théorème de Riesz-Fischer, qui dit qu'une fonction est de carré intégrable si et seulement si sa série de Fourier converge dans L2, et que l'espace Lp est complet
