Il bat le record national junior pour remporter la médaille de bronze du 10 000 m marche lors des championnats du monde U20 de 2016. Le 16 juillet 2017, il termine 4^e lors des Championnats d'Europe espoirs en battant le record national espoirs en 1 h 23 min 10 s. Le 14 juillet 2019, il bat le record national en 1 h 21 min 32 s pour remporter la médaille d’argent lors des Championnats d’Europe espoirs à Gävle^[1].
