Manfred Mann (oik. Manfred Sepse Lubowitz[1], s. 21. lokakuuta 1940 Johannesburg, Etelä-Afrikka) on kosketinsoittaja, joka perusti yhtyeet Manfred Mann ja Manfred Mann's Earth Band.
Lubowitz opiskeli musiikkia ja aloitti uransa Etelä-Afrikassa, mutta muutti 1961 Britanniaan, koska vastusti kotimaansa apartheidia. Hän kirjoitti brittiläiseen jazzlehteen nimimerkillä Manfred Manne, mutta pian nimi lyheni muotoon Manfred Mann. Hän tutustui kosketinsoittaja ja rumpali Mike Huggiin, jonka kanssa hän perusti 1962 yhtyeen blues-jazzyhtyeen Mann Hugg Blues Brothers. Yhtye teki 1963 levytyssopimuksen EMIn kanssa ja muutti nimensa Manfred Manniksi. Yhtye hajosi 1969, mutta Manfred Mann ja Mike Hugg perustivat saman tien kokeellisen jazz-rockyhtyeen Manfred Mann Chapter Three. Lyhytikäinen yhtye ehti julkaista kaksi albumia. 1971 syntyi Manfred Mann's Earth Band, joka on yhä elossa ja levyttää. Hän on julkaissut myös omia levyjä nimellä Manfred Mann's Plain Music[2].
Manfred Mann’s Earth Band on vieraillut usein Suomessa. Helsingissä yhtye on esiintynyt ainakin Tavastialla 10.10.1973[3][4]. Kulttuuritalon konsertti oli 29.11.1976 [5], ja Finlandiatalossa yhtye esiintyi 2.4.1979. [6] Konsertti Tavastialla oli jälleen vuorossa 11.10.1996. [7]
Vuonna 1974 Manfred Mann’s Earth Band esiintyi Yleisradion tuottamassa Plyysiä ja hyvää musiikkia -Pohjoisvisiosarjan osassa 3. Ohjelma kuvattiin TV1:n Pasilan televisiostudiossa ja lähetettiin Yle TV:1:ssä 5.12.1974. Ohjelma lähetettiin myös Ruotsin, Norjan ja Tanskan televisioissa. [8]
