Hugo Emil Lojander (15. helmikuuta 1860 Viipuri – 18. maaliskuuta 1898 Helsinki) oli suomalainen filosofian tohtori ja apteekkari.[1][2]
Hugo Lojanderin vanhemmat olivat postiekspeditööri Herman Waldemar Lojander ja Emilia Pistolekors. Hän kävi muutamia luokkia Helsingin normaalilyseota ja meni sitten 1877 oppilaaksi Hedlundin apteekkiin Savonlinnaan. Lojander valmistui farmaseutiksi 1881 ja proviisoriksi 1885. Hän oli sitten työssä Ahngerin apteekissa Helsingissä ja Cumlanderin apteekissa Hämeenlinnassa ennen kuin lähti opiskelemaan ulkomaille. [1]
Lojander opiskeli farmasiaa ja luonnontieteitä Heidelbergin ja Strassburgin yliopistoissa matkastipendin turvin 1885–1887. Hän valmistui filosofian tohtoriksi Strassburgin yliopistosta 1887. Lojander perusti yhdessä apteekkari Karl Fredrik Mandelinin kanssa Finsk farmaceutisk tidskrift-julkaisun. Lojander nimitettiin 1889 assistentiksi Erlangenin farmaseuttiseen instituuttiin ja samana vuonna hän sai Fredrikintorin varrella sijainneen Helsingin 7:nnen apteekin apteekkioikeudet.[1][2]
Hugo Lojander oli naimisissa vuodesta 1885 Ellen Cumlanderin kanssa. Lojander kuoli maaliskuussa 1898 Helsingissä keuhkotautiin. [1][2]
