Unkarin myrkkyvuoto on 4. lokakuuta 2010 Länsi-Unkarissa Veszprémin läänissä Ajkan kaupungissa tapahtunut teollisuusonnettomuus.[1]
Alumiiniyhtiö Magyar Aluminium Zrt:n (MAL) Ajkan alumiinitehtaan lieteallas murtui, ja ympäristöön valui lähes miljoona tonnia emäksistä lipeää, rautaoksidia, lyijyä, kadmiumia, arseenia, elohopeaa ja kromia sisältävää ruosteenpunaista lietettä.[2][3][4] WWF:n mukaan lietepato oli vuotanut jo kuukausien ajan ennen murtumistaan.[5] Myrkyllinen liete saavutti Tonavan sivuhaaran 7. lokakuuta.[6] Arviolta miljoona kuutiometriä emäksistä lietettä levisi 40 km² alueelle pääosin Devecserin kaupunkiin ja Kolontárin kylään.[7] Tehtaan johtaja Zoltan Bakonyi totesi aluksi televisiohaastattelussa, ettei ”punainen möhnä ei ole mitenkään vaarallista”.[8]
Myrkkyvuotoon ja sen aiheuttamiin vammoihin kuoli kymmenen ihmistä, ja onnettomuudessa loukkaantui noin 200 ihmistä.[7]
Kotinsa menettäneet saivat uudet asunnot, mutta osa Devecserin asukkaista ei ole tyytyväisiä saamiinsa korvauksiin tai onnettomuuden jälkihoitoon. Osa heistä on tarvinnut esimerkiksi useita ihonsiirteitä. Lähes 20 prosenttia asukkaista muutti onnettomuuden jälkeen pois, ja kaupunkiin jäi 4 400 asukasta.[7]
Onnettomuudesta ei tuomittu ketään. Tammikuussa 2016 unkarilaisoikeus vapautti entisen tehtaanjohtajan syytteistä. Tehdas otettiin pian onnettomuuden jälkeen valtion ohjaukseen, lietealtaat korjattiin ja tehtaan käyttöä jatkettiin. Kuusi vuotta onnettomuuden jälkeen maaperä tehtaan ympärillä oli yhä punaista.[7]
