Emaus

Emaus[1] (antzinako grezieraz: Ἐμμαούς; latinez: Emmaus; hebreeraz: חמת, Hammat, "iturburu epel"; arabieraz: عِمواس, Imwas) egungo Jerusalemdik 11 kilometrotara iparralderantz zegoen antzinako herrixka da. Bere kokapen zehatza ezezaguna da. San Lukasen arabera, bertan Kristo bere bi ikasleren aurrean azaldu zen berpiztu zen egunean[2].
