Literatura-irakasle izan zen eta Contorno literatura aldizkariaren zuzendaritzako kidea. Eleberrigilea eta ipuingilea izan zen. Bere narrazioak bukaera sendokoak direlako eta peronismoaren aurkari baten balio etikoak agerian uzten dituztelako bereizten dira. Obra zabala du, eta sarritan saritua: Cayó sobre su rostro (1955), Gerchunoff Saria irabazitakoa; El desconocido (1956), Kultura Zuzendaritza Nagusiaren Saria; Un dios cotidiano (1957), Kraft saria; Los dueños de la tierra (1958), Argentinako Idazle Elkartearen Saria.
