Kuiļi kihistu (inglise Kuiļi Formation) on ordoviitsiumi ladestu Pirgu lademe kihistu.[1] Seda hakkasid esimesena eristama Rita Ulste ja Lilita-Ilga Gailīte aastal 1970. Kihistu on nime saanud Kuiļi talu järgi.
Kihistu stratotüüp on Kuili-9 puurauk, kus kihistu esineb 950.50...954.50 meetril. Saldus 5PM puurauk on aastast 1989 Kuiļi kihistu neostratotüüp, kus kihistu esineb 994.7...999.5 meetril.[2]
Eestis kihistu kivimeid üldiselt ei esine, kuid neid on siiski eristatud ühes Valga lähistelt võetud puuraugus. Leedus eristatakse kihistut maa loodeosas, kus see on kuni 4 meetri paksune.
Kuiļi kihistu on Pirgu lademe noorim kihistu.
Kihistu koosneb savikast või lubjarikkast merglist või argilliiti sisaldavast lubjakivist, mida iseloomustavad punakad laigud. Eesti aladel on need laigud vaevumärgatavad, mistõttu see jäetakse tavaliselt eristamata. Kihistu sisaldab väga harva fossiile, ent loomade elutegevuse jäljed on selles sagedased.[3]
