Kaspianoj (en greka Κάσπιοι, Kaspioi, em aramea: kspy, {en klasika armena lingvo կասպք|կասպք, kaspkʿ, en irana کاسپی ها } estas adapta versio de greka etnonimo menciita dufoje de Herodoto inter satrapoj de Dario[1] kaj aplikita de Strabono[2] por la antikva popolo loĝanta laŭ la suda kaj sudokcidenta bordoj de la Kaspia Maro, en la regiono kiu estis nomita Kaspianio laŭ ili.[3] La nomo ne estas registrita en pra-irana.[4]
La Kaspianoj estis ĝenerale konsideritaj kiel pra-hindeŭropa popolo; ili estis identigitaj de Ernst Herzfeld kun la Kasitoj,[5] kiu parolis lingvon sen identigita rilato kun iu ajn konata lingvo kaj kies originoj estis dumlonge celo de diskuto.
