- 炻器はヨーロッパで数多くつくられていましたが、ジャスパーウエアは従来の炻器に比べても粒子が非常に細かく、素地が格段になめらかでした。
- Sekki wa Yōroppa de kazuōku tsukurareteimashita ga, jasupāuea wa jūrai no sekki ni kurabete mo ryūshi ga hijō ni komakaku, soji ga kakudan ni nameraka deshita.
- While stoneware was made in great numbers in Europe, compared to traditional stoneware jasperware had much finer particles and was much smoother before glazing.
