Etymology 1

Inherited from Old Hindi हम (hama), हंम (haṃma), from Apabhramsa अम्हे (amhe), from Prakrit 𑀅𑀫𑁆𑀳𑁂 (amhe), from Sanskrit अस्मे (asme).
