Usage notes
When applied, the term means "young man", sometimes translated as "boy". It originally referred to the art style before being applied to gender.

- Shonen - Są to serie przeznaczone głównie dla chłopców, najczęściej tasiemce, w których motywem przewodnim są walki i transformacja głównego bohatera, na początku zazwyczaj będącego niczym niewyróżniającym się chłopakiem, w prawdziwego bohatera.
