Usage notes

• Contractions formed with the preposition à (e.g. au, aux, auxquelles, etc.) are also used with jusqu'à, forming compounded contractions including (but not limited to) jusqu’au, jusqu’aux, jusqu’auxquelles, jusqu’aujourd’hui, and jusqu’au-delà.
• Unlike English until, jusqu'à is only a preposition, never a conjunction. The corresponding conjunction is jusqu’à ce que.
