Etymology 1
From Ancient Greek Δάοι (Dáoi), Δάκοι (Dákoi), of long disputed origin and meaning; see Dacians. Some writers used the tribe name Getae to describe them.
Etymology 2
Same as 1, used instead of Dania because of the similar sound.
