Hudson was the front desk receptionist for the show, prior to being made a featured player.[3] She rarely had a role of significance in any sketches and was fired along with most of the cast at the end of the troubled season. However, she continued to appear occasionally in uncredited small roles until her final appearance on the show in 1984. Apart from her stint on SNL, Hudson has not appeared in any other television or film role.[4]
