A cover by Hurricane Smith reached No. 23 on the UK Singles Chart,^[1] No. 49 on the Billboard Hot 100,^[2] No. 9 on the New Zealand Listener Charts^[3] and No. 12 on the Dutch Top 40.^[4] Andy Williams recorded a cover of the song, which appeared on his album Solitaire / First Time Ever I Saw Your Face.^[5]
