West Coast Group Representation Constituency

The West Coast Group Representation Constituency is a five-member Group Representation Constituency (GRC) located in the western as well as the central area of Singapore. The five divisions consists: Ayer Rajah-Gek Poh, West Coast, Boon Lay, Nanyang and Telok Blangah managed by West Coast Town Council. West Coast GRC covers the areas of Ayer Rajah, Dover, Pasir Panjang, the south-western area, West Coast, Jurong, Jurong Island, Sentosa, Telok Blangah, Tuas and much of Singapore's southern & western territorial waters and offshore islands in the area. The current Members of Parliament for the constituency are Foo Mee Har, Desmond Lee, Ang Wei Neng and Rachel Ong from the People's Action Party (PAP) after the resignation of S. Iswaran.[1]

In January 2024, Iswaran resigned as a member of the PAP, Minister for Transport and his seat as Member of Parliament (MP) in the GRC after he was charged in the State Courts of Singapore with 27 charges relating to bribery and corruption.[2][3]
Following the 2025 Elections Boundary Review Committee's report, West Coast GRC with some of the Taman Jurong and Jurong West estates were merged into West Coast–Jurong West GRC. Telok Blangah and Dover estates were carved out to Tanjong Pagar GRC, and Harbourfront and Sentosa estates to Radin Mas SMC.[4][5][6]

^ S. Iswaran resigned as Member of Parliament in 2024, after being charged with 27 counts of corruption and bribery. There is no replacement for the MP in West Coast.[7]
