Uvariopsis vanderystii is a species of plant in the Annonaceae family.[3] It is found in Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Gabon.[1] Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.[1] It is threatened by habitat loss.[1]

U. vanderystii is a monoecious shrub,[4] with strictly cauliflorous inflorescences.[3] Its petals are joined at the base, with flowers having distinct pedicels.[3]
U. vanderystii was first described by Robyns & Ghesq. in 1933.[5][2]
