Ubisoft+ (formerly Uplay+[1]) is a subscription-based video game service from Ubisoft offering access to download and play games from Ubisoft's library for a single monthly fee.[2] Ubisoft+ offers subscribers unlimited access to a catalog of more than 100 games on Microsoft Windows PCs, including titles such as Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Watch Dogs: Legion and Immortals Fenyx Rising.[3] Ubisoft+ also includes premium editions to games, classic titles and additional content packs.[4] With a Ubisoft+ subscription, games can be downloaded and played on Windows computers using the free Ubisoft Connect game launcher.

Ubisoft announced the new subscription service Uplay+ at E3 2019.[5][6] The service launched on September 3, 2019, for Windows.[7][8][9]
In October 2020, Uplay+ rebranded to Ubisoft+ and announced its service expansion to cloud gaming platforms Amazon Luna and Google Stadia for US subscribers in November 2020 and December 2020, respectively.[10][11] New releases were added including Watch Dogs: Legion in October 2020,[12] Assassin's Creed Valhalla in November 2020[13] and Immortals Fenyx Rising in December 2020.[14]
In June 2022, the company launched Ubisoft+ Classics featuring older games on PlayStation consoles as part of the revamped PlayStation Plus subscription service on the Extra, Deluxe, and Premium tiers.[15] Ubisoft+ was launched for Xbox consoles on April 12, 2023.[16] In January 2024, Ubisoft+ Classics was launched for Microsoft Windows as a standalone subscription, whereas the full subscription was rebranded Ubisoft+ Premium.[17] In March 2024, Ubisoft+ Classics became available on PlayStation consoles as a standalone subscription.[18]
On September 3, 2024, StarHub has announced to bring Ubisoft+ across Southeast Asia (via GameHub+), marking the first time the service launched in the Asian markets.[19]
In January 2024, Ubisoft was criticized by some gamers following an interview statement by Philippe Tremblay, Director of Subscriptions, that they need to get "comfortable" with not "owning" their games as part of the evolving landscape of game subscription services.[20][21][22][23]
