Enekwechi was born in Queens, New York. He is of Nigerian descent. He has a background in athletics representing Eastern Michigan University, specializing in throwing events in track and field.[1]
Enekwechi made his WWE debut on the August 4, 2023, episode of NXT Level Up as Tyriek Igwe, teaming with Tyson Dupont in a tag team match against Edris Enofe and Malik Blade, which they lost.[2]
On April 30, 2024, at Spring Breakin', Igwe and Dupont faced The O.C. (Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows) in a losing effort.[3] Throughout the year, Igwe and Dupont continued to compete in the NXT tag team division.[4] After suffering multiple losses, Wes Lee took Igwe and Dupont under his wing near the end of the year.[5] On the December 31 episode of NXT, Lee, Igwe and Dupont teamed up for the first time, defeating Andre Chase, Hank Walker and Tank Ledger in a six-man tag team match.[6]
Enekwechi, as Tyriek Igwe, made his Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) debut on the January 23, 2025 episode of Impact! alongside Wes Lee and Tyson Dupont to cost Lee's former team The Rascalz (Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz) their tag team title match against NXT Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazer and Axiom.[7]
Igwe embraces his Nigerian heritage and often incorporates elements of it into his wrestling persona. The term "igwe" is a title used in northern Igbo-speaking areas of Nigeria, and it refers to a king. It is associated with the sky deity, which signifies the king's elevated status.[8]
