2022 season

Burks was drafted 18th overall by the Tennessee Titans in 2022.[16] To obtain the draft pick from the Philadelphia Eagles, Tennessee traded away receiver A. J. Brown, also receiving a third round pick in 2023.[17]

Burks suffered turf toe in Week 4 and was placed on injured reserve on October 8.[18] He was activated from injured reserve on November 12, 2022.[19] In Week 11, against the Green Bay Packers, he had seven receptions for 111 receiving yards in the 27–17 victory.[20] In Week 12, against the Cincinnati Bengals, he scored his first NFL touchdown on an unusual fumble recovery in the endzone in the 20–16 loss.[21] In the following game, a 35–10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, he scored his first professional receiving touchdown on a 25-yard reception.[22] Burks appeared in 11 games as a rookie and finished with 33 receptions for 444 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown.[23]

Burks was also ruled out for the Week 5 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.[24][25] He appeared in 11 games in the 2023 season. He finished with 16 receptions for 221 yards.[26]

On October 18, Burks was ruled out ahead of Week 7 matchup against the Buffalo Bills after suffering a knee injury in practice, and he was put on injured reserve the following day.[27] On December 4, head coach Brian Callahan announced that Burks underwent season–ending surgery to repair his anterior cruciate ligament.[28] Burks finished his season with four catches for 34 yards in five games played.[29]
