County in Razavi Khorasan province, Iran From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Torqabeh and Shandiz County (Persian: شهرستان طرقبه شاندیز)[a] is in Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.[4] Its capital is the city of Torqabeh.
After the 2006 National Census, Torqabeh District was separated from Mashhad County in the establishment of Binalud County,[b] which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each,[4] with the city of Torqabeh as its capital.
At the time of the 2011 census, the county's population was 58,483 people in 17,457 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the county as 69,640 in 21,861 households.[2]
