Torkaman, West Azerbaijan

Torkaman (Persian: تركمان)^[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Torkaman Rural District of the Central District of Urmia County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran.^[4]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 171 in 40 households.^[5] The following census in 2011 counted 394 people in 117 households.^[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 123 people in 38 households.^[2]
