Anselm made his Austrian Football First League debut for FC Liefering on 22 September 2017 in a game against FC Blau-Weiß Linz.[1]
On 27 August 2020, he joined WSG Swarovski Tirol on a season-long loan.[2]
In January 2024, Anselm joined German 3. Liga club Viktoria Köln on loan until the end of the season.[3]
On 17 June 2024, Anselm returned to WSG Tirol on a long-term contract.[4]
