Taxus mairei, Maire's yew, is a species of conifer in the yew family Taxaceae, native to Nepal, Assam, central and southern China, Hainan, Taiwan and Vietnam.[2] It is extensively harvested for its paclitaxel (taxol) content in China.[3]
