Tashi Gyalson is an Indian politician from the Union territory of Ladakh. Since 2020, he is the Chief Executive Councilor of the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, Leh.[citation needed] He was a candidate of the 2024 Indian general election in Ladakh.
Gyalson ran for the Leh Assembly constituency in the 2008 legislative election. However, he finished in fifth and last place, with 281 votes.[1] In the 2020 election, he was elected to the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, Leh, in which he was also elected their Chief Executive Councillor.[2][3] In the 2024 general election, Gyalson was selected by the National Democratic Alliance to be their candidate for the Ladakh constituency, where he lost even came third to independent candidate Mohmad Haneefa.[4][5]
