Szamocin [ʂaˈmɔt͡ɕin] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Strachówka, within Wołomin County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) south-east of Strachówka, 33 km (21 mi) east of Wołomin, and 53 km (33 mi) north-east of Warsaw.
