St. Benedict is a census-designated place (CDP) in Nemaha County, Kansas, United States.^[1] As of the 2020 census, the population was 50.^[2] It is located three miles north of the western edge of Seneca.

History

A post office was opened in Saint Benedict in 1883, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1902.^[3]

The community currently consists of over a dozen homes near the tall St. Mary's Church, which was built in 1893.^[4]^[5]
