Geography
Sinabelkirchen lies in the Ilz valley in the middle of the east Styrian hills. The municipality covers an area of 37.09 square kilometers (14,32 square miles) and is accessible via the South Autobahn A2, making it easily reachable from Graz and other nearby cities.[3]
History
Human habitation in the vicinity of Sinabelkirchen traces back to ancient eras, marked by traces of settlements dating back to prehistoric times. Nonetheless, recorded history of Sinabelkirchen commences circa the 12th century.
