Shinqar

Shinqar (Persian: شينقر)^[a] is a village in Eqbal-e Sharqi Rural District of the Central District of Qazvin County, Qazvin province, Iran.

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,647 in 443 households.^[4] The following census in 2011 counted 2,137 people in 631 households.^[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,823 people in 558 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.^[2]
