Sheraton Lagos Hotel is a five-star conference centre hotel in Lagos^[4][3][5] It is part of the Sheraton brand, which is managed by Marriott International. The hotel is situated near Murtala Muhammed International Airport and offers accommodation, dining, and event facilities.^[6]

History

Established in 1985,^[1] and built in Ikeja the state's capital, it is one of the largest hotels in Nigeria. Sheraton Lagos hotel is part of the Marriott International chain of Hotels.

Ownership

Ikeja Hotel Plc owns the Sheraton Lagos Hotel. Ikeja Hotel Plc is a hospitality company that has been involved in the development and management of several prominent hotels in Nigeria, including Sheraton Lagos Hotel.^[7]

Design

The hotel building comprises 337 guest rooms and suites,^[2] in a six multistory building, with environs including the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Spar shopping mall and Club Vegas.^[3] Sheraton Lagos Hotels also has a sister hotel on the Island named Four Point by Sheraton.^[8]

Events

Sheraton Hotels Lagos has five moderately sized convention centres and events that have taken place there include wedding, conferences and international exhibitions.^[9][10] The banquet hall, which is the largest, has a sitting capacity of up to 300 people.^[11]
