Shcherbinovsky District (Russian: Щерби́новский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the thirty-eight in Krasnodar Krai, Russia.[1] As a municipal division, it is incorporated as Shcherbinovsky Municipal District.[4] It is located in the north of the krai. The area of the district is 1,377 square kilometers (532 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a stanitsa) of Staroshcherbinovskaya.[1] Population: 37,301(2010 Census);[3] 38,816(2002 Census);[6] 36,208(1989 Soviet census).[7] The population of Staroshcherbinovskaya accounts for 48.3% of the district's total population.[3]
