Sarab-e Dowreh

Sarab-e Dowreh (Persian: سراب دوره)^[a] is a city in the Central District^[b] of Chegeni County,^[c] Lorestan province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district.^[7] It is also the administrative center for Dowreh Rural District.^[8]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 1,312 in 326 households, when it was in Chegeni District^[d] of Khorramabad County.^[9] The following census in 2011 counted 1,515 people in 368 households,^[10] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Dowreh County,^[e] with Sarab-e Dowreh as its capital.^[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 1,713 people in 478 households.^[2]
