Sangar Rural District (Rasht County)

Sangar Rural District (Persian: دهستان سنگر)^[3] is in Sangar District of Rasht County, Gilan province, Iran.^[4] Its capital is the village of Vishka Nanak.^[5]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 16,808 in 4,706 households.^[6] There were 15,513 inhabitants in 4,997 households at the following census of 2011.^[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 14,475 in 4,842 households. The most populous of its 16 villages was Vishka Nanak, with 1,965 people.^[2]
