Rouvas (Greek: Ρούβας) is a former municipality in the Heraklion regional unit, Crete, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Gortyn, of which it is a municipal unit.[2] The municipal unit has an area of 62.725 km2 (24.218 sq mi).[3] Population 1,713 (2021). The seat of the municipality was in Gergeri.
