Film career

Raghuveer came to the Kannada film industry as a hero through Ajay Vijay back in 1990 co-starring Murali. Though he made his debut as a hero through that film, it was S. Narayan's Chaitrada Premanjali (1992), which catapulted him to success.[8] He then went on to act in Shrungara Kavya (1993).

However his subsequent films Kaaveri Theeradalli (1994), Naviloora Naidile (1995), Thungabhadra (1995) and Kaadina Kaggathalu did not do well.[9]

He took a hiatus from films and later returned.[9] His film Mugila Chumbana had a delayed release in 2013.[1]

Personal life

Raghuveer faced problems from his parents after marrying his frequent costar Sindhu and after she died, he married Gowri and stayed out of cinema as per their wishes.[9] He had a daughter named Shreya from his first marriage and a daughter named Moksha from his second marriage.[10][4]
