It covers the life of Vladimir Putin from the age of ten, through sixty years of many events in his real life,[1][2] until his fictional death.[3]
The film was produced by independent production and distribution company XYZEl[4] and was shot in Russia, Ukraine, Israel, Syria, Jordan and Poland.[2]
Polish studio AIO created the technology to make the film.[2] Putin was recreated with computer-generated imagery and artificial intelligence in the body of a Polish actor,[3][1][5] being the first time in the history of cinema that this will be used for a leading character in a film.[2]
It was shown to international distributors at the Cannes Festival. It was planned to be presented in nearly fifty countries.[4]
