Pentol is often found especially in East Java, Central Java and Yogyakarta. It is usually sold per count at a price according to its bag starting from 200 rupiah to 1000 rupiah per count (depending on size and contents of the pentol) and mixed with peanut sauce or tomato sauce and soy sauce. Pentol sellers usually sell them on carts, motorbikes, bicycles, or even on foot and moving depending on the whereabouts of the buyers. Some of the reasons pentol is popular, especially in rural areas, are because of their low price and good taste while being quite filling.[1]
