The MCV Electric Bus (also known as the 'Volvo BZL Electric Bus') is a low-entry single-deck bus bodywork and a low-floor double-decker bus bodywork built by MCV Bus & Coach in partnership with Volvo Buses as the zero-emissions alternative to the MCV Evora and MCV EvoSeti. It was unveiled in September 2021 by Volvo.[3]

Single Decker
The Electric Single Decker is available in lengths of 9m, 9.7m, 10.4m, 10.8m, 11.4m, 12.2m & 13m[4] all lengths are available with 1 door and all lengths except 9m are available with 2 doors (Transport for London specification)[4] The name of the bodywork is determined on the length for example the C093 EV represents the 9m and 9.7m variants and C103 EV represents the 10.4m and 10.8m variants etc.
Double Decker
The Double Decker is only available with MCV D113 EV bodywork in either 10.3m or 10.9m. It is also available with either 1 or 2 doors (Transport for London specification)[5] like the Single Decker

Egypt
the MCV Electric Bus (both single- and double-deck) is also available in left-hand drive specification in Egypt, in all of the same lengths as in the UK.
In Egypt the MCV Electric Bus is sold directly through MCV rather than through Volvo Buses as is the case for the UK Market.

Hong Kong
MCV D123
In 2024, a facelift version of the MCV EvoSeti would be developed for Hong Kong (called the MCV D123 internally) being compliant is fitted with Euro 6 Volvo D8K-350 engine model, Volvo B8L based on the bodywork of the MCV D113 EV but featuring a more sharp and angular bottom design. Currently only in use with Kowloon Motor Bus; typically city Volvo B8L buses are measuring a 12 metre or 12.8 metre lengths.[6]
