M. G. Hashmat

M. G. Hashmat was a lyricist and script writer in Indian films. He worked mostly in Bollywood movies as songwriter. He won BFJA Awards for Best Lyricist in 1975 ^[1] and was nominated for Filmfare Award for Best Lyricist in 1975 for the Kishore Kumar popular song "Mera Jeevan Kora Kagaz" from the movie Kora Kagaz (1974).^[2]

He has written 202 film songs in 51 Hindi films. He is also known as dialouge writer, his work was in simple word near to daily life.He wrote the dialouge of Kora Kagaz movie 1973.
