List of sitting judges of the high courts of India

There are 25 high courts of India. The number of total judges in these courts are 1122, of which 846 judges are permanent.[1] As of 14 May 2025, 351 of the seats, about 32% are vacant.[1]

Allahabad High Court, has the largest number (160) of judges while Sikkim High Court has the smallest number (3).[1] The lists of high court judges are maintained by the Ministry of Law and Justice.[2]
