Notes

  1. The upper house of the territorial legislature was called the council.
  2. The 1893 session had two competing the houses, the Populist "Dunsmore House" and the "Douglass House," named after their speakers. The state supreme court ruled that the Douglass House was the legitimate body, and the Dunsmore House adjourned on February 28, 1893, merging with the Douglass House.[3][4]
