The commune is made up of the following collection of villages and hamlets, Le Bisson, L'Abbaye and Lignou.[3]
The commune has one river running through it, The Rouvre and 4 streams, the Lange, Roussieres, Fief Benoit & the Arthan.

- Château de Lignou a 16th Century Chateau in Lignou registered as a Monument historique in 1973.[4]
