He was registered as an architect in Verona and began restoring monuments damaged or destroyed during World War II.[2] He worked for the Superintendent of Monuments in Verona until 1966, when he began committing himself to public projects, such as the Verona Chamber of Commerce, office buildings, schools, housing for the elderly, villas, and other commercial buildings.[3]
In 1996, Cecchini and his son founded the company Vittorio Cecchini Libero and Associated Architects, which competed in numerous local and national architectural competitions.
